I don't think they include Digital Download sales either. A lot of people who own gaming PC's buy off of steam.

These are just 360 numbers. VGC doesnt track PC at all.

EA said 2 million copies of Mass effect 2 were sold to retailers in first week. VGC counts sold to retailers as shipped. How many copies were sold by retailers to consumers is anyone's guess.

Staggered launches of the game in its first week launch. Margin of error rate on software tends to be much higher than hardware. Software sales number between: -10% and +10% to allow for margin of error. So anywhere between 800k to 1000k copies were sold in its first week.
NPD figures will reveal more information on Mass effect 2 sales.

lol. I find it ironic that we xbox fans completely write off the pc with our "console exclusives" but we just want ME2 to do so well we accept that it exists..
I like to see most xbox 360 as a "pc lite" anyway, so we're all in this together, guys
