Dead serious.

it happens to be that big because its already installed in when a person starts up the computer *with windows anyways*, even if 124123412312341 users use it, it doesnt mean its the best, it just means they havent tried others, or maybe do not care which is the best, now, for browser noone can really say which is best (prolly firefox imo), but i can say that IE is not...it crashes, its slow, and its just a plain hog

I don't get the crashes some people do, and on the rare occasion I do get a crash it automatically restores the page. Because so many people use it, most websites are designed to work well in IE. And if people aren't trying out other browsers IE is obviously good enough for them.

FF, won't use Chrome until the extensions include a certain necessity that I won't name here and the one being touted isn't the same, even if name is similar, and it doesn't work as well.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that my employer won't allow us to use Chrome for security reasons.

They allow IE, but fully control the upgrades, currently only IE7, however, we are allowed to use any flavor of FF and upgrade at will.

Internet Explorer is superior. Hundreds of millions of users can't be wrong.

the only reason it userbase is so big is that it is pre-installed with windows.

and all the newbies who don't know anything about browsers don't care to change. and you know less than 0.5 percent of the internet population are newbie's even less than that

I said hundreds of millions. So Wii Sports has a ways to go. It's still pretty good though.

I've been an avid Firefox supporter for years, but I've recently switched to Chrome since it's just so must faster.
