I never said it was a failure. I'm saying that DI could have been a special game. This thread is criticizing its originality.

I much like you thought the same thing and I am referring to it looking like GOW. Its quite the contrary. GOW is based off of Greek Mythology & Dante's Inferno off of Divine Story. Plus if you see the nine circles of Hell you will start to see the big difference. He's going through different levels of hell. Kratos is battling the gods. Yes, there is some style & gameplay that is the same. The nine circles (ex. lust, greed, hatred) give an in depth look and the visuals are awesome. That's why I'm getting both.

You got that right, make the new main character a pretty boy + bayo' like action and you have final fantasy on ice and crack at the same time.

See demo doesn't always give the full picture of the game...that's why its a demo

I don't get why "originality" is such a big deal. Frankly, there's only so much one can do with a medium. The more we make and consume, the more there will be that are very similar.

Pretty much. Considering it plays almost exactly like God of War, I mean literly I felt like I was playing God of War, it doesn't have much new to it except having a different theme with skill tree and the option to go Vader or Luke Skywalker.

I thought the reviews were cruel at first but as some pointed out the game is buggy and has glitches because the assuption here is that they are rushing this game before God of War 3 is released and also after the super bowl.
