I have never seen a well constructed argument for the bolded.
Sony wouldn't pay for an HD exclusive. And Square wouldnt go to the trouble of making an HD version then voluntarily not put it on Xbox 360. This isn't some obscure Japanese RPG. This is a series that is popular in the West, where the Xbox 360 is still comfortably the dominant HD console.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
@ starcraft - I'm not going to defend that position, I merely stated it was quite popular. Maybe people merely think that Wii is likely, as is Ps3. so they compromise and say PSWii.
The 360 is just so unsuited to the game. MS tried for a while to get JRPGs on the 360, but soon gave up. The 360 is also not a great console for games that will inevitably be seen by the average Halo player as 'kiddie'.

Lost Odyssey did well. And a handful of other titles have done ok. The PS3 certainly wasn't blazing the JRPG trail prior to the release of Final Fantasy XIII.
How is the most popular HD console in the West (ESPECIALLY America) unsuited to carry a game that prominently features Disney characters. The Xbox 360 has arguably shown more ability to sell a variety of games than any other console this generation. This isn't the Xbox. It still sells shooters amazingly, but it no longer JUST sells shooters.
Sports games sell millions. Music games sell millions. Platform games, fighters, strategy games and especially racers have all shown an ability to sell well.
Kingdom Hearts 3 wont be some brilliantly made game that everyone thinks is made for 4 year olds so it doesnt shift. A well ported version of KH3 on Xbox 360 could (and almost certainly would) easily sell two million. By the time this game comes out, it will require an attach ratio of less than 5% to make that happen. That would make the game profitable on the Xbox 360 alone (at least counting for development on that console). If they led with the PS3 and just ported the Xbox 360 version, they'd be making tens of millions in profit.

Such variety is impressive indeed
The 360 sells
shooters (which appeal to young adult males)
m rated WRPGs(young adult males)
sports games (young adult males)
Music games (is it just me, or are the majority of people who play (rock) music young adult males)
Fighters (young adult males)
Platform games (this is incorrect, the 360 does not sell platformers well at all)
Racers (fancy that, young adult males)
The 360 has a more diverse game selection that the xbox. It does not have a much more diverse install base.

well as in FF13 double their sales in a week only in japan?.
even tales of vesperia outsold 360 version.
even japan alone ps3 JRPG sell quite well, sadly didn't have any RPG until WKC which outsell first week all jrpg on the 360 in japan. even without worldwide release.

That's actually the only later ported JRPG to do so in Japan... Enchanted Arms didn't, Trusty Bell didn't and SO4 looks like it won't be following suit either.
And Vesperia did fairly well in the west, better than Abyss, Legendia, Destiny, Destiny II (Eternia) and Radiant Mythology in fact. Outside the Symphonias, it's the best performing Tales here ever.
i wait for the KH3 announcemnet since 2005 it has been a long wait
judging from nomura it will be a PS3 exclusive( or a Wii exclusive less chance)
and something else
the first simulanterous JRPG PS360 release in japan sold that
PS3 FW 131k
360 FW 23K
that 's is the firt jrpg on hd to release on the same date with no later ports
I think it'll be HD multiplatform. I also think we'll see a BBS-style unnumbered sequel on Wii from the Osaka team first though, if KH3 is on PS3(60) and coming from Nomura's team, it's still at least 3 years away.
