So I dont understand. Are we to believe that there all but no PS3's in stock right now????

Without a doubt Sony are talking sold to to retail. Thats a given. They always do. So if they have sold 31+ million on this site that would mean major shortages no????
Why have we not heard about them?????

Something isnt right. Somewhere. But surely Sony/M$ arent wrong? Surely they not what their own consoles are doing better than anyone else?

As for Xbox 360 units sold, it's safe to say he mixed up with units sold to retailers.

Software sales don't scale with userbase, in fact game attach ratios tend to favor smaller bases.  Multiplatform games last gen weren't 6:1 for PS2:GC or PS2:Xbox either.

Ive never seen shortgaes here in UK. It was available all through Xmas and now. The Wii had signs outside saying Out of stock. The PS3 has never had that in my city. Wierd. Also I never saw it on any websites like you do with the wii. I knew nothing of any shortages on or offline.

It all seems strange to me. Also why would a Sony exec say the gap is 8 million when  it isn't? Surely it's in Sony's best interest to say it's closer?

If they actually said they SOLD to CONSUMERS 39 million. Then I believe them. Shareholders and certain laws are in place to protect them against making stock decisions based on company lies. M$ legal department will know this.

Yeah, true. I guess hopefully they'll clarify soon enough.

Yeah, true. I guess hopefully they'll clarify soon enough.


Definately need clarification from the big 2. Because many dont view this site. But will listen to Sony and M$ figures. And shareholders will know Sony say the gap is 8 million.
