Housemarque has revealed that its new intense arcade style twin-stick shooter, Nex Machina, will be coming to the PC. Nex Machina was previously revealed as a PS4-exclusive title, however its Steam store page has just went live, revealing that this new title will be coming to Steam in 2017. 

Here are the game’s key features:

  • Explosive twin-stick arcade shooter gaming at its finest
  • Over 100+ challenging levels in 5+ different intense worlds
  • Secret paths, levels and humans
  • Deep scoring system, rich metagame and replayability
  • Specially tailored feats and achievements
  • Community and friend leaderboards
  • Unlockables and player profiles
  • Next gen signed distance field (SDF) ray-tracing and morphing tech
  • Voxel driven, significantly reworked version of the Housemarque engine

Housemarque has also revealed the PC system requirements for Nex Machina that can be found below.

    • Memory: 4 GB RAM

    • Network: Broadband Internet connection
    • Storage: 1 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: Requires SSE 4.1 support from CPU (Doesn’t run on Phenom II)

Nice to see another console game coming to Steam, more money for the devs and more gamers to play it.

Both are shmup games with a focus on bright colours as well as moving around fast and frequently.

Yeah, maybe I'll need to watch some gameplay. Im only judging from the screenshots.

It plays a little bit like Resogun, but it's really a spiritual successor to Robotron 2084.

Doesn't look anything like a succesor but it looks amazing. Might get it on ps4.,

Resogun is a must for fans of these types of games. Get a ps4 and play it if you haven't. Awesome game!
