I know the game is meant to suck, but the local multiplayer looks kinda fun, can anyone recommend it?

Kinda reminds me of all 4 one which I found very fun when you had friends over. I mainly want it so I have a game I can play with my Wife, she doesn't like fighting games which is the only local multiplayer game I have.

You dare question Knack?!?

It's like poor's man Mario. Only that it cost more.

I played Knack on a demo unit and selling this game as "next-gen" is almost offensive. It barely looks better than a PS3 game and the framerate is disgusting, it can't even keep up a stable 30 FPS.

You must have been playing an old demo, I also had the same issue when playing it about 4 months ago. But I have since played it again at my local games store and it was running fine, nice graphics and 60fps.

Ahh that sucks then, maybe I was playing a well made part of the game.

I haven't played the game, and I don't plan to.

No frame rate issues. On local multi player it is similar to Sonic 2 where first player dominates action I. Terms of camera positioning, while second player has advantage of infinite respawn.

On the game I have had fun playing it with my wife and with my nephew. It is a solid title, but admittedly nothing extraordinary.

Or he's lying his ass off.

Anyway, I've only played the demo and seen vids played on Youtube.  Just from that, it seems like a blast.  Graphics aren't mindblowingly next gen, but there some things you can tell couldn't be done on last gen.  When I get my PS4 next year, it will definitely be one of the games I buy, as I'm sure my kids and I will enjoy it.  Just screams oldschool gaming to me.
