Forums - Gaming - My cousin got impatient and bought the PS4 instead of his preordered XB1 and ...

... BLOD.  Lol!

He got another from GS though and it's working fine.  I just thought that was hilarious irony.

For the record, he said that the customer service line for Sony was tied up all day and he couldn't get through.  Anecdotal evidence everywhere but it'll be interesting to see how this all plays out in the weeks and months to come.  He's definitely not a fanboy of either company and is very happy with his purchase but he felt the problems are many.  I just thought it was funny that the only person I know that bought one got BLOD.

So did he got it replaced or did he purchased again?

Mine is working great so far. Maybe it will stay that way, but it sucks for your friend. At least he has a good unit now.

This story is blarney. No way Gamestop had units available to sell and still had ANOTHER one to replace the broken one. Nice try though.

PS4 is so amazing, it's making people cancel their Xbone pre-orders!

Anyways, this should give you a clear example of how your average gamer decides what to buy, not gamers like us, but the ones who game "casually"

It's pretty much in line with what BenVTrigger is always saying as well.

I went early to buy my ps4 with two of my friends at toyrus since we didn't pre order and the only problem out of our 3 systems was a faulty controller that doesn't let you play wireless

Ha ha, "BLOD,  for a second there I thought it was some cool new internet slang.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

My thoughts too, sold out almost everywhere within 24 hours between gamers and resellers.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
