I've never had a problem with Amazon's customer service, and even when things don't happen how I like them to, this is one of the reasons why they'll continue to get my money.
Initial Question: I've been trying to cancel two items for an order I placed on 11/12 for the past two days, but I haven't gotten any confirmation that they've been cancelled even though I requested the cancellation before they shipped.

09:36 PM(GMT) Paul(CSA): Well, good news and bad news. The bad news is that the games are too far along the shipping process to stop, apparently. The good news is, I can check tomorrow to see which shipper was assigned and 90% chance of getting the shipment sent back for refund.

09:42 PM(GMT) Paul(CSA): No, of course the customer could cancel the orders up to a certain point. They just didn't want us mere reps to mess up the pre-order status and lose people's place in line. I think they set it up mainly for the console itself, but put up a block for anything with PS4 on it.

09:43 PM(GMT) Paul(CSA): Man, I'm glad those consoles finally went out.
09:44 PM(GMT) Adriane D Williams: I imagine you were. I got mine a few hours ago. Is there a certain time tomorrow, I should check to see if the shipment was sent back?
09:46 PM(GMT) Paul(CSA): I get in at 1pm Pacific time and I'm here until 10pm. I have a little nag feature that pings me to check these things. I just keep checking until I see a status update showing a shipper I can call. Then I tell them to send it back. Pretty easy most times. USPS can be a little difficult, but I imagine these will go out today.
So it will probably go UPS or FedEx.
