I have never been a fanboy, have consoles from the big three and always buy what looks cool and fun to me. However, I understand fandom and loyalty to brand, it is a normal phenomena that happens to best of people.

That said, now that the PS3 is much cheaper (200 dollars) and have a lot of good exclusives, is there any MS or Nintendo fan out there thinking about buying one for the exclusives?

Only Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, and maybe Little Big Planet (heard it had disappointing platforming fundamentals) would interest me there.

Not so much that I don't like the console or company....more so that I don't want to be grouped in with the fans. Its a moral principle.

I bought one, then my credit card info was stolen when the PSN hack happened. It was a nightmare. Never again.

Sort of, the way I might just want a bowl of ice cream right now. Certainly I sometimes think, Man, I wish I could just sit down and play Journey tonight. Or inFamous. Lately, maybe even Dragon's Crown. But that's it. No other PS3 titles interest me -- surely not the ones listed in your OP -- and those few games aren't worth the price of admission for me. If I owned a PS3, it would collect dust, and the PS3 deserves better than that.

I did buy one in 2009. At that time PS3 already had a good number of 1st party games and exclusives that i wanted to try out.
Loved R&C: Quest for Booty, Resistance 1 and 2, Uncharted 1 and 2. Whilst MGS4, LBP and Wipeout didn`t do it for me. Liked MGS4 but at some point i just lost interest in it.

That`s why, no matter how interesting i find the PS4, there isn`t a single game/franchise that would make me buy the console.
