1st: Wii- 210 Million

I think the Wii will come in first mainly due to the grip it has on the casual market and its new way of playing. It also has many AAA games and a low price that will keep buyers interested for a long time.

2nd: PS3- 58 Million

The PS3 will come in second mainly due to Blu-Ray. A lot of people adopted Blu-Ray due to the PS3 though. Many people saw how great the system was for its multiple functions, blu-ray, amazing games, great graphics, and low price. Who wouldn't want it?

3rd: Xbox 360- 42 Million

The 360 is going to come in last because many people did not consider it worth the investment when they saw PS3 was basically the same system but with a built-in Blu-Ray and considered that a worthy investment. Although many hardcore gamers wanted this for the online functions and its exclusive games.

Anyone who has anything other than the Wii at first place is fooling themselves.

At any rate, my predictions...

Wii: 110 Million

PS3: 40 Million

360: 35 Million

Well its a tough call, cause there are multiple scenarios that could put either Wii or PS3 in first, but Wii definetly does have the best chance. So I don't know if I can say for sure yet but I do know that Wii can't get last, and 360 can't get first. I guess I'll just give my most likely scenario:

1. Wii- 90 million

2. PS3- 60 million

3. 360- 35 million

But once again this is the most likely scenario, but not the only one. I don't have enough data to accurately give my answer with full confidence.

Wii:100 mil+
360: 45 mil
PS3: 40 mil

360 beats out PS3 only because of America. Europe will be pretty close in the end, and Japan won't be enough for PS3 to beat 360. Wii will continue to dominate.

I'd say about the same as you dtewi. I can not see the PS3 catching the Wii (unless Nintendo collapses overnight).

Well, the exact totals are anyone's guess, but it's VERY unlikely that the Wii won't win this generation. I know PS3 fans will mention MGS, GT5, KZ2, and whatnot, but get real, Nintendo also has plenty of tricks left up its sleeves.

I'd say Wii has 90% chance of winning, PS3 7% and 360 has 3% chance of getting first.

I think the PS3, but it will take years to overcome the Wii.

I can see it in the market for a good 10 years, where as the Wii will die in 4-5.

No way Wii sells only 130 million and PS3 sells 78 million, first off Wii is overtracking the PS2 and DS by large amounts, so anything under 150 million for Wii is ridiculous, as for PS3 its undertracking the N64 and the PSP,so anything over 50 million for PS3 is ridiculous, in fact even 40 million is a stretch
