Ubisoft has released a 25-minute short film that serves as a prequel to Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

Ghost Recon Alpha is a live action short film that takes place after an attack on a European city, which plays an important role in Future Soldier's plot. The main protagonists of the film are also the four characters you'll be playing in the game. If that's not enough of a reason to check it out, there's also a secret code in the movie that will unlock an exclusive weapon in Future Soldier. Watch the movie below.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier releases on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 22, and PC on June 12. For more information on the game, check out this multiplayer trailer.

That was actually REALLY good. Enjoyed it, fun being able to understand Russian too, the accents were terribad in some cases though haha.

But yeah nice shortfilm, a decent action sequence ( as if it were actually a film, rather than a short one).

Although I now graphics won't be that beast, I might preorder the game as I've been thinking about it for some time now :p
