your balance have a lot to do with it... my wife had a little problem with her inner ear that cause her to be extremely unbalanced. the inner ear is very sensible and the littlest thing can make your brain process your balance wrong... that can cause a uneven position of your harms in horizontal position if some one blindfold you and ask you to stretch your arms wide open for the horizontal position. if your inner ear can have you have a wrong perception of such a simple thing, imagine what will it do to you if you walk for one hour blindfolded. human function and perception is build on all senses and information we can gather from the out side... if one is taken, everything will not work as good.
