Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) bomb developed in South Korea

The advancements in the field of modern warfare has never ceased to amaze me, and among the more interesting weapons that I’ve read about had always been the EMP bomb – where it will disable all forms of electronics within the vicinity. South Korea has just developed an advanced electromagnetic pulse device which is capable of being deployed on the battlefield in order to make short work of enemy computers, according to a defense official. Guess it is now official – although it has long been discussed by experts, but never officially thought to exist. 

Park Chang-kyu from the South Korean Agency for Defense Development has extremely confident that the defense committee is able to get the EMP bomb up and ready for wartime use, all they need would be a military request for that to happen.

I would say such a bomb will affect far more than just computers – anything electronic is going to get fried, and the scene from The Matrix Reloaded comes into mind when an EMP bomb was let off in order to disable the sentinels.

So, where can I buy electronics that are EMP proof?

Where exactly you can buy EMP proof electronics I dont know. But Its damn expensive big and heavy. I saw an EMP proof notebook once. for 7000 Euro.

If you now someone in the army he might give you more information they have stuff that works after an EMP.
Every Atom bomb does emit an EMP So even if South Korea developed an EMP Bomb. Your concerns are late because this threat existed since the 50s. If you fire an H2 Bomb high up in the atmosphere you will get an huge EM wave that fries every electronic thing in a huge radius. Also you have no physical destruction. Nuclear fallout would spread over a huge surface and be reduced to a minimum. EMP weapons are nothing new if you look at it that way.

The whole idea for EMP bombs is to only destroy electronics, not people, nor structures.

Fire an H2 Bomb high up in the atmosphere or outside of the atmosphere you get no destruction other than electronics. Didnt I said that already ?
