Gamescom 2011, the biggest European Gaming Expo on the calendar, kicks off next week in Cologne, Germany. With the recent announcement that Gears of War 3 will release uncut in Germany, a first for the franchise, Microsoft have teamed up with GCON’s Liam Ashley and Xbox German Moderator Lucy Grosspitsch to put on a celebratory event for fans of Gears of War at Gamescom.
Gears fans who can attend the event can expect hands on time with Horde 2.0, the chance to get up close and personal with some fantastic Gears of War products, and a great environment to meet other fans of the franchise. On top of all that, some lucky winners will get to head home with prizes, including the chance to win one of two Gears of War 3 Xbox 360s to be given away at the show.
