well, I m really confused by this thread

who is right at the end ?

I doubt the move is able to "increase" PS3 sales that much ? so what is the reason if it is not the move ?

You doubt that amazon boost is because of GT5, you doubt that PS3 sales are because of Move, what are going to doubt next in order to doubt the PS3 boost?

NAH !

I m just asking myslef question ..

As the guys mentioned: Adjustments.

Please do not think this is trolling or anything like it, but I think VGC does not know exactly where Sony sold (shipped) those PS3s to explain the gap. We do get pretty good data for NA, Japan and sometimes for UK, so it seems like they just put it in EMEAA. I doubt VGC knows where exactly. But that should not discredit the great work VGC did with the tracking in the past years.

You wish.

The truth is , for those who still trying to question vgchartz numbers or Sony's shipping numbers, Nintendo's 3rd quater report showed that the PS3 was selling way better than we had it here, and that's just regular Europe. In Fact, after the Slim came out, the 360 only led for a couple weeks before the PS3 went right back ahead.

Ok, 360 was outsold by the PS3
but WHY the bump at the move release ?

you answered your own question

Read my post again please. I was asking WHERE the PS3 sold so well in EMEAA. I did not doubt that it did. So your "you wish" just shows me how sensitive you are.

It is not UK according to Chart Track / GfK (biggest market) so is it eastern Europe where VGC undertracked the PS3 or scandinavia or Germany??? Maybe the middle East?

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I think it's move and the time of the year plus the fact the PS3 was selling great anyway.

No way is it Move... SONY can't accomplish anything notable...

You guys really should look at past history before saying all this junk.  In the last 2 weeks, PS3 is only 5.25% ahead of the same week last year.  It always goes up early like this in Others this time of year, likely for early Christmas purposes.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

aren't they tracking higher in emeaa because they'd been undertracking in emeaa

i guess the middle east, russia and asia sell more than they thought

                                                                                                                                        Above & Beyond

Maybe people are just unaware of the pricing if they don't live in EU. The large boost in EMEAA is largely because Move is being bundled with the 320 GB PS3 for free in that region. If you're interested in Move or even just the PSeye (like for head tracking in GT5) it's actually a more economical choice to get the 320 GB SKU rather than the 160. The boost in EU never came as a surprise to me. I was actually predicting almost the exact scenario that's played out back in June or July (whenever it was revealed what the pricing structure for Move in EU was).
