Sony's way forward in a world of exclusivity and moneyhatting.

I am afraid the same thing will happen to Sony.   Your guess is totally wrong. It had nothing to do with Nintendo's first party titles and everything to do with how they treated third-party...

Sony will support 3rd parties just not focus on their exclusives.   Thanks for explaining what I "mean". Good to know.   The least they can do is support 3rd party, unlike Nintendo. Is that...

I was talking about hardware sales, not software. I meant if the point comes where Microsoft can say to Rockstar that you are going to make 100 million profit from selling GTA5 on PS3, here have it and make it exclusive. If the hardware doesn't significantly pick up, they will be making the same mistake Nintendo did. Or maybe as benga benga says the same ingenuity that Nintendo had....

So they're in a much better position to focus on internal development, as it will be complimentary to the third party games.   With the direction Sony are going, they will not keep TP even as multiplat. It is not as if they have stellar sales or...

Xen said: Sony's internal development teams are quite good... I say that Sony needs itself an RPG team - found one or buy one. I'd say Square Enix if they weren't so big and expensive, I'd go for my 2nd favorite RPG dev - Level 5. If you want your console to have true exclusives - make them yourself. Hope Sony expands on that.   No first party developers are better than...

A theory of why KH3 or FFVII remake will be on Wii

in Nintendo Discussion on 09 July 2008

Can someone tell me why everyone assumes they know which console KH3 will be on? I am a bit confused. This is a company that took their franchise that was saved on a certain company's console to another company's console. I don't see why sony fanboys think it will be on the PS3? Has there been any links saying it was going to be on that console in the first place or did everyone just assume that?...

I wish it would've been on all consoles so everyone can enjoy it.Now all the PS3 and Xbox360 fanboys will say that the game is crap and they are happy that it isn't on the PSN/Live and they weren't even interested in it.It just takes the fun out when everyone is whining. I am more used to "the game is sooo much better on Xbox360/PS3 than on Wii" and "the Wii gets PS2 ports" than this. If things...

in Nintendo Discussion on 30 June 2008

I was pretty impressed. I had(have) a very important deadline so I couldn't put too much time into the game yet, but now I am around 80% and in the maze. The plot was very nice and I think that those that did not enjoy it just wanted to finish it so they can unlock everything, otherwise it is pretty decent....
