Only four weeks left before 2021's weekly sales descend to lower levels and become less of a challenge. The launch of Splatoon 3 will preceed the OLED launch of last year, so September will allow 2022 to gain a lot of ground on 2021 before heading into the final quarter of the year.
Reminder: 2021's final quarter was rather weak at ~1.7m. 2020 was ~2.0m, 2019 was ~2.0m, 2018 was ~1.7m. This means that 2022's second half can remain flat in comparison to 2021 and possibly even close the gap to at least some degree.
