The new Yakuza runs a bit like crap. At 1440p it can't even hit stable 60fps on my 1080. Turned it down to 1080p and still can't get it to run smoothly at 120fps. I may need to buy a GPU RIGHT NOW or else I'm not gonna be able to enjoy it.

The Dragon engine seems to be very hardware demanding. A 2080ti couldn't hit 4K 60 fps at the highest setting on Yakuza Kiwami 2, ran at around 50 fps. The newest Yakuza, Like A Dragon, seems to be even more demanding than Kiwami 2 was. On consoles I heard that Like A Dragon runs at:

Series X

  • 4K 30 fps
  • 1440p unstable 60 fps
  • 1080p stable 60 fps

Series S

  • 1440p 30 fps
  • 1080p unstable 60 fps

PS4 Pro

  • 1080p unstable 30 fps

Not sure about PS4, XB1 S, and XB1 X, but I'm guessing 720p XB1 S, 900p PS4, 1080p XB1 X, each at 30 fps, with frame drops on XB1 S and PS4 probably.
