~Update~
Bandai just announced that the game shipped (+ digital sales) over 2 million units in 6 days. And the game just released in Asia today.

It's currently sitting at 88 on Metacritic with 44 reviews.

And the game peaked at 44,337 concurrent users on Steam.
For reference, other fighting games peaked at:

Tekken 7 : 18,766
Street Fighter 5: 13,807
Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite: 3,592

That is quite a bit higher.
Not only that, but it's in the Top 10 concurrent users list on steam right now.

This has apparently not happened before for a fighting game, so that's interesting.

What do you guys think DBFZ will do worldwide lifetime?

For comparison, Street Fighter V was near 2,5 million as of December 2017: http://twinfinite.net/2017/12/street-fighter-v-sales-copies/
Also, Dragonball Xenoverse 1 & Dragonball Xenoverse 2 have sold over 8 million copies combined. And Namco expect them to reach 10 million.
