it seems these games have been released for Wii/DS with very little fanfare in NA. In fact, I haven't found out any info about them except that they exist, and they were apparently released three days ago. Anyone have any idea if these games are decent learning tools, and more importantly, whether they are any fun?

I really would like to improve on my spanish and My spanish Coach looks like it would be good (spanish for Everyone is apparently terrible in many ways). Has anyone heard anything about these games? Any reviews anywhere? 

There was a spanish learning title for DS last week, i think.
Edutainment titles aren't big in NA, i suppose.

I think the thing about hype for these games, is that there are just so many games out there for the DS right now.  They kinda get lost in the shuffle.  Usually gaming news sites stick to the flashy stuff, but I think these titles are important to cover in light of the casual market trends.  I'm surprised there are no reviews or any coverage for them at all. 

I remember a bit of news when My Word coach was announced but since then, nothing. Are the games even released? I can't find a review or anything anywhere.

Yeah, they are out. If you go to Amazon, they don't have them listed as preorder.

Strangely, IGN says spanish/french ds games shouldn't be out or not out yet in US, but they do appear to be purchasable from amazon...

Metacritic has an empty spot for wii/ds word coach, but not even a listing entry for the French/Spanish games.


I am semi-interested in the wii games, but less so if it requires a DS, as I don't have one... (and I don't want one, I have enough time waisters... although I could always borrow my daughter's or my wife's if I had to).

well My Spanish Coach debuted in the charts at #179, so it definitely exists. But I still haven't found any information about this game at all... Bloody hell, what's going on?
