that would be another amazing week for nintendo, showing that, without any new good game for the past 2-3months, they're still very far from covering demand. what will it be for paper mario if they indeed have wii units hiding somewhere.... As for sony, if it's really less than 20k, this is looking very bleak indeed...

it could be less than 20k.....it could be a bit above 20k. ameblo always bogs down the numbers. we wait for MEDIA CRATE numbers. 20k is still very decent compared to 2k for x360.

PS3 - what can I say... really poor performance PSP - still on the "MHP2" wave Nintendo - I don't understand this... This hardware is so poor... Sale so big...

So poor in which way? The only thing that really surprises me is how well the Wii continues to perform without the release of any new "big" games. From what I have seen over several years is that (in Japan) it is not typical to have a system sell more than (about) 40,000 or 50,000 units on a week where there are no game releases ...

ofcourse if you compare ps3 sales with Wii sales then it is very poor indeed. Howeve if you compare it to x360...it is good no doubt. Until the price comes down ps3 would struggle in JAPAN. HOT SHOTS golf could give it a short time boost . Ps3's misery remains until and unless FFx1/ RE5/ MGS4 are not released

DS is a piece of crap... I don't even try to compare it to PSP... same when we are talking about Wii against PS3/Xbox360...

So processing performance? The fact is there is far more to a piece of hardware being good than the power of the processor. The Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Playstation and PS2 all faced competition which was far more powerful but were far more successful for various reasons; the Gameboy and Gameboy Advance's lower performance actually worked to their benefit because they used less power and were far less expensive.

WII is selling more and more, last week it was about 65.000 or so, now already 80.000! What ever strategy Nintendo is using, it's working anyway ;) Can't say for Sony I've got Layton myself, game is really like "subarashii" No wonder why the Japanese like that game so much.

Fact: I dropped my PSP the screen broke never bought another one. Fact: I dropped my DS six or seven times still works like it's new but it doesn't look new Fact: PSP can make better graphics than the DS. Fact: Doesn't matter as far as sales go! About the numbers: That's crazy that they can hold strong like that, those sales are remarkable.
