Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Anyone consider America stupid for buying more 360s than PS3s?

Just curious if anyone has seen anyone argue that the 360 sells more in America than the PS3, they consider America stupid?  Such individuals would claim the PS3 is such a mindless no-brainer now, and superior in every possible way, there is no reason to buy a 360.  Yet, in America, more people buy 360s over the PS3.  Anyhow, anyone seen arguments like this?  Or would they argue that this is true?

I have never seen someone argue that.

And I would just laugh if I did, and quickly bookmark the thread so I could read it later but NEVER post in it because it's kind of obvious how it would turn out.

There was a spate of threads last year sometime along those lines. It was basically European PS3 troll fanboys asserting that the US/UK/AUS were less intelligent based on their console choices.
I disagreed

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

its possible to pirate on the xbox360. that alone will be a reason for many to choose it over a ps3.

There have been arguments like that since the PS3 came out haha. I'm sure they are still as rampant as they have always been. Though these are mainly the rabid fanboys making those claims so I try to not pay attention to them.

i consider the half of the world is stupid because they're buying Wiis.

I'm Back! - Proud owner of the best doomed handheld of all time!

^Actually no its not stupid. Its a new concept (Wii-mote) over an conventional analog controller.

It deserves to sell

It's easier to think that others are stupid than to admit your own impotence to understand others.

Said that, I think that MS did their things really well in the US and that's how they got an important share of the market since minute 1. Nevertheless they are experiencing a hard competition now that the PS3 seems so atractive to users because of its price and its exclusive games.

I think main reason is still money.
And parents.

Take my love, take my land..

Nope, haven't seen that argument.
