Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Zack & Wiki delayed in Europe

It is actually a smart thing to do when you look at the sales in us and japan for zack and wiki. Europe has normally been more adventure buying than their counterparts in the us, and releasing this game so close to SMG, RE, Metroid might have hurt it sales in europe. while 2008 does have brawl, I can't think of many games that will get in the way of zack for having a good first week, which I think is what they are shooting for.

Sucks for EU guys

And inb4RolStoppable

I do appreciate a good pun. You are awesome, Soriku.

I think Europe has a lot more strict rules on games and they probably are spending extra time replaying the game for the 63rd times to make sure there aren't any spazzing content.

I hope you people who are saying you won't buy it because of the delay are kidding.

no, I am quite serious. This annoys me and what annoys me I dont buy.

this was gonna be my xmas present from the wife - gotta say I'm really disapointed with the wii due to delays when we get games, Super Paper Mario in sept, just got Metroid Prime, no Zak and Wiki - with this, nights and SSBB - my whole wish list for December this year has gone.

Really dissapointing year for the wii from my opinion

Those people that think they're perfect give a bad reputation to us who are...

"With the DS, it's fair to say that Nintendo stepped out of the technical race and went for a feature differentiation with the touch screen, but I fear that it won't have a lasting impact beyond that of a gimmick - so the long-lasting appeal of the platform is at peril as a direct result of that." - Phil Harrison, Sony

I have to agree. Except for MP3, nothing exciting thus far.

Ok try this

Australia hasn't even got Metroid yet

Apart from Zak & Wiki being delayed to 2008, they are also delaying BWii, Fire Emblem, and Endless Ocean into sometime in 2008

It gets me down sometimes I'll admit

Btw we also pay $90 US per game

It kills us here in Oz to hear all you guys telling stories about playing with these games months before we even see them

I was ecstatic to hear this delayed. I had a nice post all typed up - but the site ate it :(

Why am I happy?

In the next 6 weeks I will be purchasing:

 - Metroid, Galaxy, BBA (+Wiimote), WiiZapper, Mario & Sonic, RE:UC, HighSchoolMusical (maybe). Bought The BIGS today (for my baseball loving housemate)

We are also getting (yup, I'm in Australia) these games which I will have to SKIP - several of which interest me:

 - GH3, Tomb Raider, Rayman 2, Soul Calibre Legends, Pokemon Revolution (yes, it hasn't hit yet!), NFS:Pro Street, Dewy, MoH, Brothers in Arms, etc...

Plus - a heap less qualified Wii titles. Add to this DS, and other console titles...

...

I can't believe people are complaining about a lack of titles this Xmas!
