Well, why don't we take into consideration that Sony released the Slim and cut the price $100?  If we are just looking at the end result, what does it matter how they garnered the sales.  If we look deeper into what the companies had to pay for the sales spike, I am sure Sony will come out with bigger losses.

And there is absolutely no proof that MS banned 1 million consoles.  The only thing out there is a "he said, she said" rumor.

You also need to consider PS3's Black Friday bundles as well, if you're going to count the banned consoles, the walmart deal and the MW2 bundle. Come on. :/

All consoles are selling more than well enough to where their software offerings make all current gen consoles good buys.  I don't see a real problem with this and the reporting of it.  So FKNetwork, get off your biased high horse.  360 owners are still posting on the site.  It's the 360 fanboys who aren't posting because they are the biased ones you are referring to.  It's common sense that where there is positive Wii news, positive Wii news will be reported.  Where there is positive PS3 news, positive PS3 news will be reported.  Where there is positive 360 news, positive 360 news will be reported.  Too bad I had to point that out to you because when good news of a certain console is reported, that news is praised by fans and owners of that console while opponents of it will attack it.  So it's not this site.  It's this site reporting what's going on in life.  If you cannot accept current events and you blame the messenger, then it's you who are biased.  And there are some who run from the truth.  Regardless of how much the PS3 has been selling, it's been doing great since the Slim's release, and the software keeps coming for it.  Maybe most of these "360 owners" are the ones running if you catch my drift.

To be fair, Future Shop (and probably some other retailers) are doing the same thing with the PS3 right now like buying a 40"? Bravia and getting a PS3 free for $1000.  I do agree that the 360 is also the much more popular system in Canada, but the numbers are so small across all consoles in relation to the States that it doesn't make a huge difference either way, albeit a bigger difference than the apparent negative Canadian 360 numbers VGC put up heh.

On NeoGAF they are banning people for 6 months if they bring up the Walmart deal, MW2 bundles or the XBL bans in the NPD thread.  I wish the mods would do the same here.  Seriously, grow up people.

has it really been that bad?  I've been on very little... got a ton of games to play just finished up CoD:WaW and Dead Space and I got Amped 3 in... I miss playing that game

There weren't 1 million 360's banned (worldwide let alone America), get your facts straight, the xbox live head refuted that number in an interview.  Secondly how did the 360 get tracked as -15k in Canada to explain your PS3 outsold it there argument?  Get over it, the 360 was undertracked massively and people on here got carried away with the doom and gloom threads for the 360 as a result.  We all know the 360 was outsold in Others and Japan but these threads are about NPD, not WW.

hells no... they are tight enough as it is... this use to be one of the freest forums to post on and the very nature causes interesting fanboy attacks... but now they crack down on stuff to much... use to be if someone posted a stupid comment and you called them out on it you where fine, but now you get banned
