Hahhaa, classic controller support? They want a 2-D Mario game to have dual fucking analogs and shoulder buttons? It has a D-Pad and 2 buttons. That's all you need. That's how Mario was created.

This man knows his stuff.

Pixel Art can be fun.

thats a dumb complaint about classic controllerr

if it would have had classic controller support how would have don the motions?

These guys are part of the "Pressing the L button would be better than shaking the remote" crowd.

But... they're forgetting you also need tilting for some of the moving platforms and lighting effects... I guess they'd want to use one of the analogs for tilting. Which would actually be counter-intuitive and hurt the game's sales.

These guys really do want games to be complex and ugly instead of intuitive and stylized.

If he would have complained about the lack of Gamecube controller support i would have agreed but Classic controller? i don't get it.

I want GC controller support because i only have 2 Wii remotes and this is the first decent game that really require me to have 4 remotes.

They just need something to complain about, huh...

Great level design, a d-pad and 2 buttons. That's all I need.

Yeah, GC controller makes more sense, but it really wouldn't play as well. Besides, they complained about lack of classic controller anyway. I guess they just didn't like the motion controls. Which they had said already. So in a sense it's not that idiotic, they just don't like motion controls like this (I'm assuming the actual controls are not broken since many places said otherwise).

A classic controller wouldn't really fit into that old classic "Mario feeling" , but I also don't really want to buy two other Wiimotes (I already have two), since they are quite expensive. IMO it would have been a welcomed feature if Nintendo would have added it.

What? You do know that you still need to buy 2 more controllers with the classic controller support. It is a Wiimote attachment.
