I sold off 19 of my games today (Wii x 13, GC x 2, DS x 3, GBA x 1) for a total of 25,800 yen, which I then used for the purchase of a new PS3 (29,980 yen). So, my out-of-pocket expense was 4,180 yen.

Up until now I haven't really much liked the idea of selling off my games, even the ones I feel I'm not likely to play much anymore, but once I got the idea in my head this morning and began estimating how much money I could get back, I couldn't resist.
I used the shopping points I accumulated with the PS3 purchase to buy Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and an HDMI cable.

I'm really enjoying Uncharted (I played the demo back in January or February, but didn't think much of it for some reason), so I expect I'll be looking toward Uncharted 2 not long after.

I played MGS4 at the beginning of this year when I still owned my first PS3. I still own it and probably will hang on to it, but doubt I'll ever play it much again.

i guess u bought Uncharted 1 cos its cheap and didnt had the money for Uncharted 2...but why do u pick up Uncharted 1 and not MGS4?best game for PS with U2 and Valkyria!

I've never been much of an RPG player, but I might give FFXIII a try.
The main PS3 games on my radar at the moment are GOW3 (and hopefully the GOW1 and 2 collection will come to Japan), Bayonetta, Infamous, Batman: AA, Heavy Rain, and GT5. I'll also probably try to find Yakuza and Biohazard 5 (or maybe wait until that one is re-released next year with wand controls).

I didn't buy Uncharted 2 because I already have a huge backlog of games that I haven't finished. That game can wait until after I've finished Uncharted (and Okami, and GTA: Chinatown Wars, and ... and ...).
I own and have already played MGS4. Not really my cup of tea, as it turns out.
