Still waiting for the Sky player to turn up. Anybody else in the UK still waiting on this. The news from Microsoft and Sky is sketchy at best with talk of a phased roll out but no details.

Apparently if you have already downloaded the player you can still find it via the quick launch even if it has disappeared from the Video marketplace. Unfortunately I did not so this snippet was not much use for me.

Like you say I just go to recently downloaded section to use it. It's not meant to be used yet hence not on the dashboard until they update their servers to cope with the demand. I just can't believe they underestimated it's take up. It was so obvious it was going to be huge, at least initially.

Sky player has finally arrived. Looks nice and without registering I have only viewed the news channel and it runs smoothly, The EPG is a marked improvement over the pile of poop they make you use on the Satelite. I do have a good connection though which is I why I am actually more excited for the HD instant on streaming.
