Some claimed IGN scores games too high by giving Brutal Legend a 9, but now Eurogamer (one of the harder scoring review sites) has given it an 8/10

No he meant some people in the other thread started giving the game scores from the demo which is pretty strange. Scoring the demo the game low is fine, but scoring the full game based on a tutorial level in a demo?
