It seems that vgchartz has done a good job on the Wii, including NPD canada, it has undertracked wii about 8%, xbox360 10% and overtracked PS3 by 24%, the DS by 12%, PSP by 13% and PS2 by 25%.

Halo was very close, -3% wow. Although Bioshock, strangehold and metroid were over estimated.

Overall good job Ioi, it seems you are getting closer and closer with the hardware.

This would mean vgcharts actually undershot halo 3, considering it sold 3.5 million units in under 2 weeks when counting canada and the american NPDS. Pretty cool :)

not a great result for VGChartz this month. Wii and Xbox360 were spot on, but DS and all things Playstation were heavily overtracked.

Well to be fair, the PS2 and PS3 are the ones that are 25% off, but you should keep in mind that that 25% means only 30k for the PS3 and 50k for PS2. It is still within a normal range in my opinion. I think the hardware was tracked well, couldn't say the same about the software

It's sad when the PS2, you know, that thing that Sony deemed so unimportant that they removed it from the 40GB, beat out the PS3. I wonder how they're going to spin it this month? PS2 still continue to beat some of its competitors!

I think this months numbers will put to end the whole the Wii is dying thing. But then again Japan is proving otherwise.

 I don't think dieing off is the right phrase, you mean just not selling out in an hour.

It was not my idea that it is dieing though.
But I don't think it is doing that good in Japan nowadays. Lucky for wii they have wiifit and super mario galaxy around the corner there.
