Big things are poppin (360) and the little things are stoppin (PS3)........lol

Good to hear that message, it gives me every bit of info leading to Square Enix's and Konami's announcement for the 360.

Wii60 people will keep posting these rumors and making fools of them slefs.

People, MGS4 is under contract. I dont get whats hard to understand, MGS is exclusive because Sony signed on the dotted line.

Hahahaha! MGS4 contracted? Since when? Link? Oh, I forgot, you made that up. I assume FF XIII is contracted as well?

Jack Tretton said there was a deal between Sony and Konami to keep the title exclusive.

"There was something that came out prior to (the Sony E3 keynote) announcement. Our folks have talked to the Konami folks, and until the announcement was out from our side, I think they were being a little bit cagey. But the agreement calls for exclusivity, the announcement's been made, and now people know the real story."

boring... how many threads like these have we seen before.....

Hmmm I'm more happy if they would say White Knight Story won't be exclusive or SOIV. I seriously don't care about these two, especially not MGS4. Then again MGS has been non exclusive before and bombed real hard. Even though MGS4 will go to the 360 as I would expect consider the graphics, Sony still has nothing the worry, especially not in Japan.

Since Sony are paying for the development of White Knight Story and are publishing the game, chances of that going multi are 0%

As for MGS4, FFXIII... not bothering again. The dude clearly stated an opinion, nothing more.

Jack Tretton said there was a deal between Sony and Konami to keep the title exclusive.

Not only Jack Tretton but Phil Harrison and some other Sony rep also said they reached a deal with Konami and that the "deal" called for exclusive...

but meh!, I'm getting tired of this discussion.

Almost certainly, yes. These contracts probably aren't the "in perpetuity throughout the universe" kind, but you can bet there's something in writing and some money changing hands. There's very little else that would explain why these games have remained exclusive this long. I'd guess that Sony is guaranteed exclusivity and no announcement of any ports for 6 months after release, or something along those lines. By that point these games will have done their work and it won't really matter anymore.

There is not now, and never has been, anything more than speculation about 360 ports. And while speculation isn't worthless, no amount of it adds up to fact.

I agree. In fact, there is some evidence to support such a claim: at E3, when discussing MGS4, Trenton said: "It's exclusive. The contract calls for exclusivity."

While I may be paraphrasing some of this, he used that PRECISE word -- contract. I don't think there's a lot of room for doubt that what you're hypothesizing is precisely what's happening.

So, in the end this is just speculation, FUD, or the truth??

My guess is FUD with a lot of wishes...

By me:

Made with Blender + LuxRender
"Since you can´t understand ... there is no point to taking you seriously."

Well.. If the developers of FF or MGS4 want my $ they will release multiplatform. Thats the way I look at it. If not.. Meh plenty of other games.

I love how a topic is created on this subject every time someone says it might be possible. It's just silly.

Why speculate? If the games do see the 360, Konami/Square-Enix will tell you, not the head of a Japanese magazine, or any guy sitting at home with his blog for that matter.

And with the announcement of the price-cuts/40GB model/new color/future bundles, I don't see the titles jumping ship now, especially when that is exactly what Konami and Square have been wanting for some time now.
