the PS3 has alot more competition this holiday than the 360 did last. The 360 was up against 2 brand new consoles, one terribly supply constrained the other hideously unpopular. The PS3 is up against a machine that's sold faster than any home console to date, and what's considered to be the hardcore gamers machine everywhere outside of Japan, both of which have killer holiday line ups that put the PS3s to shame. That's why the PS3 won't do as well numbers wise as the 360 did last year, killerman.

Are these rumors as believable as the 40 gig rumors? No. All you have is speculation from forums.

Wii60 people will keep posting these rumors and making fools of them slefs.
People, MGS4 is under contract. I dont get whats hard to understand, MGS is exclusive because Sony signed on the dotted line.

PS3 may have strong competition but Xbox360 faced reluctancy from the customers who were waiting for the other consoles to appear as well and then buy.

Contracts can be broken.
There is always an out clause.

Nothing but wishful thinking by the the MS-fanbase or some guy who wants some media-attention.
Hmmm I'm more happy if they would say White Knight Story won't be exclusive or SOIV. I seriously don't care about these two, especially not MGS4. Then again MGS has been non exclusive before and bombed real hard. Even though MGS4 will go to the 360 as I would expect consider the graphics, Sony still has nothing the worry, especially not in Japan.

Ditto. WKS and SO4 are far more appealing to me than the latest Final Fantasy and Megal Gear games. No interest left in watching Square flush FF down the toilet anymore.
