My expectations (formulated the moment I heard that it was Pay to Play) were less Japanese sales than it has already achieved.

That for Fiscal Year which for Capcom ends on March 31st, 2010.  the game will release in the US and Europe during that quarter.  Do you really think that they will not have shipped 2 million units before that point?

It's easily on pace for 1.5 million in just Japan.   The US and Europe would only need 250k shipped each.

If anything it is easily going to surpass their projections.

The PSP games are not online at all...

You can play online via Ad Hoc Party if you have a PS3.

i think i read somewhere that nintendo plans to help advertise it here in the west. is that true. would be interesting if they did

i know they said they plan to help SE with dragon quest too
