Retailer Amazon.com on Mon. price cut Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 Arcade SKU to under $180 in a new hardware sale.

This week, the Xbox 360 Arcade SKU held a sale price of $179.96, a 10 percent discount from the $199.99 MSRP.

That's a nice freaking deal.

OMG, 20$...finally I can afford a 360!!!

Way beyound the 100$ price cut on the ps3 slim.

Yeah just wait till this holiday, 360 will recieve a huge sales boost.

A fairly interesting find. One cannot help, but wonder why Amazon would feel a need to put this on sale. Perhaps it lends credence to the speculation that the traditional Arcade is being phased out in favor of a upgraded model.

Yup a $20 price will grant a huge boost.

This price is only for a week.

1) $180 is the cheapest price for a this gen console.

2) We don't know what's on the pS3 slim or if it even exists..contary to Eurpoean reports.

3) $100 isn't a big deal when your cheapest console price is still 300 bucks while ur near competitor is 120 bucks less....

4) Why would M$ drop the price more than 20 bucks anyway?

Makes more sense now...

it wont last long, so people should buy 360's now.
