There were original supposed to be 16

I don't think they were actually going to be 16 games, just 16 chapters.  If Xenosaga couldn't make past 3 games, then why would Shenmue be able to.  Shenmue was chapter 1 and Shenmue II was chapters 3,4, and 5.  Chapter 2 apparently being the boat trip.  I never played the games but I know this because I watched the retrospective on the series.  Kikizo rumored in 2005 that all 16 chapters would be on one next gen console according to an article and released as Shenmue III.  Unfortunately, Kikizo has their reputation ruined over this.  Apparently, Shenmue III was in development but was halted.

Well, Xenosaga was a commercial failure, but the plot was supposed to fit 6 games actually. Than the director of the game said in an interview that because of low sales Namco wouldn't finance the other projects and the III was going to be the last game, well, he decided to make the third one just as he planned and don't destroy the plot by putting a plot made to fit 4  games in just one. The rest of the story will remain untold forever...

Ok, I did some research. Below are games that sega could bring to the XBL/PSN as a collection or as DLC. Remember only sega games can be released, capcom, namco and other titles can't be on SEGA's dreamcast compliations. Also I left the sports games out...

All I can say is OMG! Is there anyone who wouldn't pay 59.99 for 10-15 best games listed below?

Sega did all this in 2 years! What an amazing company that was at its prime. All I can say is that I think that Sega's published/developed DC games in 2 years own the entire Wii games library thus far in 3 years. And Wii is your leading console this gen folks...

From all  of these games, at least Sega Bass Fishing is out this gen. The Wii version is exactly the same thing.

I know...i rented it once. Wasn't one of the best DC games to be honest. Wii also has House of Dead 2 and Samba de amigo. XBL has Rez.

Actually sega should let you choose 10 DC games you want for 59.99.

My choices would be:

Alien Front Online, ChuChu Rocket!, Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future, Headhunter, Jet Grind Radio, Shenmue, Shenmue II, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Toy Commander

Shenmue was one of the biggest commercial flops of the industry.  SEGA didn't let Suzuki make a third game to give the series some closure.

^Are you 2 arguing about which game is a bigger flop?

Well, i have to say shenmue, even selling better than Xenosaga it had a astronomic budget even for nowadays standards, imagine what 70 million in game that time meant? I'm sure this games probably even paid 1/5 of this amount.

A dreamcast collection would be cool. 20 games on one disc for 40$ with about 2 or 3 volumes.
Hey, and it's time for them to stop with the genesis collections already, so it works perfectly!

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.
