Uncharted 2 is going to be released in the coming months and the hype for the game is unbelievable. I think its the most anticpated IP on the PS3, second to Ratchet and Clank.

Anyways, here's my predicitions for the first week sales WW and lifetime sales

The first game sold 133,883 copies worldwide and the lifetime sales are probably going to be 2.5 million lifetime.

So judging by the sales of the first game, I think the sales of the second title will double the first title.

My prediction for the first week sales WW would be somewhere between 250-300k.

My prediction for the lifetime sales would be somewhere between 2-3.5 million copies.

What are your predictions?

I think Uncharted 2 could do around:

first week: 200 - 300k

Lifetime (without bundles) 2 million

Lifetime (with bundles) 2.5 - 3 million

I imagine it will do similarly to the first title. Maybe a little better, maybe a little less.

Wow, thats a very modest prediction. I will say around 450k to 500k first week and 3 million lifetime.

Uncharted 2 has tremendous hype surrounding it and comparing it's sales to the first game isn't right, mainly because the game launched with a very small userbase and went on to sell 2million+ due to bundles. But this game, if marketed well, will do business similar to Killzone 2 in it's first week, so around 700,000, and will end up with lifetime sales of about 3.5 million. If it's bundled like the first game, we can expect sales to hit 4.5million+
