Spain is as of now the best team in the world with a HUGE difference. But you never know, in the WC the "top candidate" always can't stand the pressure and drops out early. Happened with Argentina and France in 2002, with Brazil in 2006. Spain will have big pressure to win the WC, since no one can doubt they're the best team at the moment. It'll be interesting to see if they manage to overcome that

But yeah, I'd still go with Spain.

Though, it's outside Europe, where an european team has never won a single WC...maybe I'll have to go with Brazil too (no way Argentina wins the WC)

....Chile..... Its been a happy week for us, 2 wins in the qualifiers, we are second now, and now we won Toulon in U 21 against France, for us is a lot to beat Portugal, the Netherlands and France twice(qatar too but that one is different) even in U 21.

Anyway, congrats to Argentina, you finished 3rd, Bounanote was the best player but I suppose you dont like him xD.

I hate him more than you, don't you know where he plays?

You said #1 sports event... but I didn't read anything about the Olympica :P

Yeah, except that Wiki says:

The World Cup was first televised in 1954 and is now the most widely-viewed and followed sporting event in the world, exceeding even the Olympic Games.

I can't imagine a WC without Argentina. But what i really want to see is Brasil x Argentina in 2014!

Ah, no love for the Confederations Cup?? We'll see if Spain is that good.. I don't think so.

5-0 against new zealand(very bad team) today, 33 matches without losing, I think the record belongs to brazil and its like 35, they are good, I think they will win the conferations cup, if not them then brazil.

although I'm not from Argentina but I love that team. Too bad they have great players but shitty couches (Maradona really !!!!)

I'm so pumped I'm gonna go play some FIFA 09

I knew Maradona as coach was a big, big, big FAIL. Oh, well, they went for the most recognizable instead of the most apt...the results are showing
