Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Exposed: Natel Milo smoke and mirrors by Peter Molyneux

I called bullshit as soon as they only showed videos of Natal...

Around the Network

I see Natal as a successful peripheral for PC applications, it can do wonders to the impaired and made interaction with the PC a lot better.

However, with gaming, I don't see too many possibilities with the lack of a peripheral to give rumble feedback. So they would require one and that will nullify the no controls they claim to do and it will be so much similar to sony's solution

lol @MikeB. Have you read some of the peoples actual hands on time with milo? It has been shown off to the gaming press. While the demo was carefully made, it doesn't mean Milo doesn't work, as people have tried it.

yet another piece of MikeB propaganda. I bet you have no issues with the sony motion control though, because Sony is perfect in every way, lol.

you know what? i have read this thread and i have noticed alot of naysayers in here claiming that natal is a fraud and that microsoft and company are being deceptive. i have taken names and will make a thread about these post when natal is released i see microsoft as being very aggressive about being in the game and will deliver on their natal promise. by the way to the naysayers what is natal no doing that microsoft said i would?voice rec, motion detection, it does all of these so what is the problem is it personal for some people.

Until I see the stuff real time interacting in from of an audience, it's just vaporware.

I'd like to see if I can scratch my nose while playing any of those games with no controller, and see how the game responds, lol. That'be interesting for the racing or fighting game, ha ha.

ROFLMAO...sony fanboys are seething with jealousy....indeed!

I'm a Sony fanboy and I'm not jealous. I'm more creeped out about making a little boy a plaything (whether or not you're already a mother or not) than the ultra violence (and unrealistic) violence in God of War III.

It's also wierd to think about excercise games with NATAL. Won't you think it's a bit ridiculous to even need NATAL when you're asked to do free weight activities with no equipment (push ups, crunches, etc).

WHAT?

Akvod...Don't talk about excercise and NATAL in the same sentence....Don't you think NATAL would be used for calistethic work outs?...Not free wieghts

Umm....Behind close doors people played Burn Out paradise

And on stage NATAL was shown live working with the NXE and two apps

Natal maybe just a work in progress but the lack of support from some people in this thread is pretty sad. I'm a big fan of controllers but even I can appreciate what MS, and for that matter what Sony and Nintendo are also trying to do. It may not come full circle this gen but in time these technologies will be enjoyed by all of us.

In all honesty, I couldn't care less about motion controllers, I just find the whole Natal presentation laughable.
