Super Mario Sunshine(Bought it last year, despite the stigma)

I love it, but it is considered one of the black sheeps of the Mario Platformer Family (I believe the other is SMB2).

Devil May Cry 2 sucked bigtime......I swear it was like they took the first game and went "How can we make this game suck ass?" or "How can we make a game for this series that feels like 4 evolutionary steps backward?"
3D Blast really was a let down.....REALLY big letdown.
Turok Rage Wars and Turok 3 sucked really bad....the first one was good, second one better....and then the third one sucked.
I'll probably think of more later.

Castlevania 64, although i enjoyed it. I hope they release the remake on VC.

ff mystic quest was targeted for non-RPG players. It was supposed to serve as an introduction to RPGs. I had a cousin (older) who could never beat FF games, but who greatly enjoyed mystic quest.

I personally played through the game and beat it. The leveling up and battles took forever, and now that I think about: why did I play this game???

command and conquer sole survior

lol

why the hell not...

command and conquer renegade

command and conquer generals

these games all suck!

Command and Conquer Tiberian Dawn and C and C red alert were such classics. (as well as ra2 and TS) Sole survior was terrible, but it was never meant to be good. Renegade could have been so much better, but i mean, it was westwoods first FPS. Generals? Once EA took over the license, it went downhill.

resident evil : outbreak

i thought the game was a blast but most people say this game sucks

Zelda 2. Best soundtrack ever.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. I loved how different it was. I loved how they chose not to make another FF clone (not saying the first four were bad, I loved them too.) But...man did people hate it.

Super Mario Sunshine: It's a good game. Problem is, it's not a GREAT game. This was supposed to be Nintendo's next epic Mario game. And it wound up being Mario 64 + Squirt gun.

I'll dig some more if I can remember them...

There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Most fans consider it a Black Sheep, even if it was a good game.

I can't really come up with another answers, as there are several series with many different black sheep, due to a general decline in the quality of the games (Spyro, for example).

Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness is widely considered the series' black sheep, so I'm going with that. If not a black sheep, at least a bad game.

I played a little C&C Tiberium Sun, man that sucked.

Zelda 2 is not a Zelda game so that doesn´t count.

Also played WarCraft 1, just a cheap Dune 2 clone

Yeah, it is. An awesome one.

I hated Mario Sunshine, personally, and FFVIII. Someone mentioned Sonic 3-D Blast, which I played with a perpetual "What the hell?" look on my face.
