Protection of the Pikmin trademark, localized names for Magic Taisen and perhaps the Check Mii Out channel, perhaps a new name for the balance board, some sort of new trainer (Soma Bringer), and the rest could be anything!

...and from some of the user comments...

Nintendo Magic (working title), known in Japan as Magic Taizen (マジック大全, Majikku Taizen?), is a magician simulation video game for the Nintendo DS. It was developed and published by Nintendo, released in Japan on November 16, 2006, and is set for release in America on November 26, 2007. [1]

Wii Handle - could this be a replacement for friend codes?? could this be hinting at a newly updated online structure???

google define of handle = An online nickname. Drawn from the slang of CB radio users; more common in the BBS world than the Internet.

...

Nintendo Magic=Stage Debut? Lets hope so.
Stage Debut with Miis would be awesome.

...

Thoughts anyone?

Wii Body Controller --> Wii Balance Board? (latter sounds better?)

Nice find Shams. With the September Suprise annoucment forthcomming it will be intresting to see which one of these trademarks does get announced.

If Wii Handle is a simplified friend code setup I will be extremely happy. Its a pain in the ass typing those things into the console.

To Each Man, Responsibility

I suppose,
Wii Handle = simplified friend code = alias

If Wii Handle is a little handle to carry around that oh so heavy small white box, I will be very happy.

hopefully you're right about wii handle, those codes seem like a pain in the ass.

I'm very unsatisfied with Wii codes - probably the weakest part of the entire architecture.

Even being able to register a unique name, and associate it with your Wii code (i.e. automatically) would be a great bonus.

I don't mind if they keep the two way registration then...

- User A adds their friend, 'User B'
- User B adds their friend, 'User A'

When both are registered, it works just as it does now. The difference is, its a heap easier to remember a nickname for your friend - than it is to remember some random 16-digit code. Still no search function, or anything evil.

I bags 'Shams' ;)
