is it possible to play cod:waw online multiplayer split screen? i thought you never could, but my friend told me that there is a way. is there?

Definitely not the Wii version since I have not seen any option for this plus the Wii version doesn't offer split screen. I highly doubt it since if you own the game and you can't find the option. It isn't like it would be a hidden option.
No, the only non-online multi-player is the bit that allows a friend to pick up a wii remote and fire at the screen as well to assist you in killing.
