Hello experienced PS3 owners. I recently acquired a 60 gb ps3 (whoo backwards compatability) and within a month, have used up 30 gigs on only games. So the option to upgrade hard drives has become a neccesity.

I apologize if this has been asked before, but does anyone advise a specific hard drive to upgrade to? I'm looking for the 320 to 500 gig range. I read that one needs a 2.5 inch hard drive, new egg didn't seem to have many that fit that catagory (or maybe I wasn't searching correctly). Anyways, any advice?

ahhh, I that's probably my mistake. I wasn't specifically searching laptob hdds.

I upgraded mine with a western digital 2.5 in. 320gb HDD. You can find them on amazon.com or newegg.com

Make sure its SATA. And not parallel IDE
