why cant i walk and shoot ?

Clearly you have never played a RE game before. You can't walk and shoot because you've never been able to walk and shoot. You have never been able to walk and shoot (and should never be able to) because RE is a survival horror not a shooter game. If you want to survive you have to balance knowing when to stay and shoot with knowing when to run.

Even with the Dual Shock, I wasn't too keen on the controls.

Seems like it really is just RE4 with pretty graphics.. Although in RE4 that worked as it created tension, does it do the same for RE5?

RE5 = RE4 port really, and people complaing about not being able to move and shoot, you couldnt move and shoot in ANY OTHER RE GAME!!!!!!!!!

yes but before you had a better perspective and it was at night and stuff, now if a failed copy of gears or something like that, i mean is the middle of the day and they zombies talk and think and stuff

I just played the demo with my bro a few minutes ago. Yes, RE5 controls are just bad. The game is boring, not scary and zombie IA is really really poor. My brother wanted to buy the game and after playing the demo he said something like: "OMG ... what happened?" ...

I hope that reviewers won't take the hype train and give RE5 what he deserves (I'd personally give it a 6/10).

LOL dude i have played the other ones, but not the ones that come out on GC, the thing is, in the other ones the camara didnt follow you in third person view and zombies didnt give speeches, so this one has an all new scheme but with the same controls, is like dante with the silent hill control

Well that's what makes RE...RE. In this day and age it may be a bit dated, especially since it's more an action game now as opposed to survival horror. The 'stand and shoot' is survival horror, the rest of the game is action. Unbalanced is what they call it.

Also, is this game a total recycle of RE4 (with better graphics)? I mean from what i've seen, the zombies are exactly the same, i mean they even make the same movements squirming when they die.

But we must know that it's capcom, look at how many times they released previous games over and over with the same engine. Can't expect more than that for at least years to come.
