Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Next hardcore EA titles for the Wii

Okay, after 2 years ignoring the Wii and a loss of $641 million, EA seems finally to understand they should support the Wii.

The recently unveiled Dead Space (I predict it to use WM+ by the way) for shure isn't the only one hardcore title we should see from EA from now on.

My bets are:

- Mirrors Edge

- Burnout

- Black 2

- Fight Night 4 (featuring WM+ controls and Balance Board and online punching = ultimate boxing game)

- Medal of Honor: Heroes 3(?)

- NBA Street (please EA)

Your bets? (Apart of casual games, we al know that MySims was born to stay)

I would expect a Mirrors Edge game for the Wii. I can imagine playing it with two Wii remotes using MotionPlus. Now wouldn't that be awesome?

Uh, yeah but how were you suposed to move the character without analog stick? Via d-Pad? Waggling the two wiimotes alternativelly?

LOL nunchuk + wiimote will be fine, even without motion plus support.

Yes, via d-pad.

Moving on 3D environments via D-pad?

Are you serious? D:

Burnout would be the most obvious one to me. I mean its a racer they can easily port on over there and have a big brand to sell on a highly mainstream userbase.

After that I'd suspect more Medal of Honor and Fight Night. But I'm drawing a blank on others.

However I don't consider any of those 3 brands hardcore brands as they are mainstream, but they are fast paced and lots of action which is something a lot of the mainstream Wii games are missing.

But yea already shaping up to be a good year from EA for wii owners.

New IP, Mirror's Edge 2(if there will be one)

EA have always been the best 3rd party on the Wii, stop with the ignoring bullshit.

Burnout Paradise is the best racing game this gen, and wii gamers deserve to play that masterpiece.

Yea it was the best racer and so disappointing compared to Burnout 3 and even Burnout Revenge.  Wow where have our good racers gone this generation.
