I was looking through N4G and found this thread. There MAY be hope yet for PS3 owners envying Bioshock. Basicly, someone was messing around with the Bioshcok PC demo to find that the console has options for both Xbox360 and PS3 specific settings

Only time will tell... Until an executive of 2K says it most certainly will not come, I'll assume at some point it will. Same for MGS4, lol.

Seems a bit misleading the 2nd link, which isn't working btw. Wasn't this the game originally slated for the PS3 until it switched over? If that's the case, it could be messy code they didn't clean up (why does the PC demo have the 360 code to begin with?)



To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

hum wasn't the game first developed for PS3....??? that would explain why some people saw a built running on PS3 and why you still have those option on a demo....
that doesn't make it on PS3 yet....

yea, its in one of the game files (i looked at my friends PC Demo's file), it does say PS3 in it. Which is either and insanely huge mistake or its completely confirmation on a PS3 game in the works, and its not a port. Bioshock is probably holiday exclusive for M$ like Haze and UT3 is for Sony.

Or leftover code from when the PS3 version was in development...

The PS3 will get the game, it's just a matter of when the announcement is made. It will be sometime in 08, hopefully not a crappy port either. They better do a proper job with it.

Yes, this isn't the right time to make PS3 version official. Since Bioshock will be a sleeper hit and taketwo has some financial problems. A PS3 version in march seems likely to me. Although there won't be any confirmation anytime soon.
