That’s nice and all until in 2 years micro drops the next xbox with at least a gig or 2 of ram and two dedicated vid cards
Plus a cpu that puts the cell to shame—then you will see the graphics go to the level of OMg for the box while sony really starts to look dated again

... on paper indeed... I understand the core of the cell may have a higher frequency, but everything around it cripples its performances. It also doesn't benefits from years of gaming API (Like DirectX stuff).

27th february will be the nail in its coffin
PS3 will win this gen too. PS3 had a slow start
but after 27th it is all over for X360

yah know, it'll probably happen but i just can't bring myself to buy a ps3. i just hate sony too much despite liking the ps3. l love my 360, it kicks ass. visuals have never really been an influence on me anyway. i do notice it but it's all about gameplay baby.

why do you care about the brand?
I ahd an xbox last gen(no PS2) ,I ahve a PS3 this gen.
I gave them both a chance.
give them a chance and if you are not happy just sell it.

If that is a Sony fanboy speaking (not an XBox one trying to make Sony fans look bad), you now know why "Halo Killer" keeps coming up, and there is ribbing about "saving the PS3". Talk like this sets up ABSURD expectations.
