I'm interested in most of those. Obviously won't be able to get all of them. The triple threat being released next week is especially hard, I want all three! This doesn't even count what's already been released. If you can't find enough there to keep you busy then you certainly won't be happy with a PSP.
Those games are........

I cant wait for Hannah Montana: Music Jam =P

why are people against games that actually teach you things that might be useful in life like languages? There is nothing wrong with learning you know.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

I keep completely forgetting about Brain Age 2! When does that game to the US?

Sigh... Instead of insulting the question and my taste in games, could some of you just answer the damned question?

Thanks to ckmlb and DKII. Contra, Sonic, MegaMan, and a few others look interesting. I'll have to look into them more. Thanks for the lists, guys.

The games I'm looking forward to are:

Heroes of Mana - 8/14
Luminous Arc - 8/14
Brain Age 2 - 8/21
Ultimate Brain Games - 9/3
Ultimate Card Games - 9/3
Dementium: The Ward - 10/31
Assassin's Creed - 11/13

I do think you'd like a PSP though. I'm VERY happy having both. Though the only PSP games coming out before the end of the year that I want are Dungeons and Dragons Tactics and Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War

Tag: Hawk - Reluctant Dark Messiah (provided by fkusumot)

Are there any old school gamers here, its sad that just one person putted Contra 4 on there list. Now thats a true classic. Contra games were HUGE once, although PS2 games were crap. But this is a true seaqull after 15 years. And Ultimate Mortal Kombat, WOW. If these 2 games turn out to be good as previous everybody should get copy of each game. PSP just doesn't stand a chance. Add  to the list games like Heroes of Mana, Luminous Arc, Rune Factory, Brain Age 2, DK Jungle Climber, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, Assassins Creed, Mario Party DS, Warhammer 40,000: Squad Commander, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. And there is a game practically for everyones taste. To bad Jungle Climber isn't a true DK Country sequel, now thats a game that I would really like to see.
PSP line up looks just awfully sad when compared to this one.

Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius, and a lot of courage, to move in the opposite direction.

I share your concerns I think the DS line up has been tame to say the least. I've only bought lunar knights and pokemon diamond, but there has actually been a lot of quality games, but I'm just not into them. Brothers in arms, picross, castlevania, Hotel dusk are all quality games, and FF VI advance works on ur ds too. Also Starfox command came out this year(i only like lylat wars tho , so i ddnt get it). There has been a lot of stuff this year tho, just not my thing tho, but i see where your cumming from.

Why not add me on msn... ish_187@hotmail.co.uk

That's just it... I see a lot of games coming for the DS but few are interesting to me. Since the list is so expansive and it's hard to find a comprehensive release listing anywhere on the internet, I missed many of the upcoming games that I might be interested in buying.

Which is why I posted this in the first place.

Here are my own must-buys, in no particular order:

1. Phoenix Wright (a quirky detective puzzler, but always well-written)
2. Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Link + stylus = outrageous fun)
3. Final Fantasy: Revenant Wings (RTS game, continues FF 12 storyline)
