Just curious as to what you guys think..

What do you think about a Mario Paintball game?  I think that would be loads of fun... I wonder if anything like this is in the works?  It seems like good clean FPS/TPS fun that you could even let the kiddos play.

Haha well sounds gimmicky but so are most of the Mario sports games so why the hell not.

I've been pitching this idea on these here threads for some time. If it was a deep FPS but accessible with all the standard Mario power-ups and online it would be huge. Like a cross between Unreal and Mario Kart.

It would be the only FPS the majority of female gamers would want to play as well as a hit with the Nintendo fanboys, kids, lapsed gamers, some casuals and some core. 2 player splitscreen online (like Mario Kart) is a MUST though.

Yeah, that was my thought too.. have all the character like in MarioKart, and incorporate the same worlds from the classics games. Probably need to use the Wii-mote and nunchuck together.

Really, I think I would be more addicted to that game than I would be even to MarioKart.

It would probably be like Lemmings Paintball was. OK but not great.

I think it would be better than that because it would a Nintendo 1st party title.. and this generation as in most, Nintendo 1st party titles are always at the very least entertaining.

Like most of the Mario Sports games, it would probably be fun. I haven't played one that I haven't enjoyed. While we're on the subject of Mario Sports, they should also make Mario Hockey.....I've always wanted to play that.
