Yep. Finally got one. 40GB HDD, Call of Duty 3, extra SIXAXIS cotroller, HDMI cable. Parents bought it as a surprise, they really did manage to surprise me lol. Each day they'd ask me things like "so, there are more versions? What are the differences between it and the XBOX?".

Today my dad showed it to me he was like "I can't keep it any longer, look.... just don't tell your mom".

Well, now moving on towards games. I think I'll beat COD3 since I beat COD4 like 5 times lol. I'll buy MGS4 and COD5. After those two, I'll see what's new.

I can't play it til the 24th so... lol. Anyways, just wanted to let you PS3 owners know!

Anyways, I have a queston: what's the price on the SIXAXIS compared to the Dual Shock 3? Also, what games do you recommend? No racing games, there are so few good ones the only great one I recall was Project Gotham on my Xbox.

Are they are brand new because a 40GB and sixaxis where dicontinued a few months ago, are they bought it for the same price, wow Call of Duty 3 thats old is the game new too, thats store sure nobody buy ps3 bacause they still have a lot of old stuf. Call of Duty 3 is now a greatest hits game so you can find him almost everywhere.

@fjburgos, yeah this is an old model, but it's cheaper than the 80GB version. I won't be downloading movies into it or using it as a main computer, so I won't be using up the 40GB any time soon. At most I'll download demos which I'll later just delete.

As for the game, yeah it's old, but again I neither bought the game or go with my parents to buy it. The game seems great and I've heard good things about it, so I really couldn't ask for more. I'll be enjoying the Wii and PS3 til the new consoles come out.
