It's all said, the wii have sold 234000(VGchartz numbers)and the gamecube sold in its lifetime 200000aprox(very low for a console in Spain), it seem that spanish people is changing their thoughts about nintendo.
At the current rate the last region to pass the Gamecube numbers will be North America and that should happen sometime in 2008 ...
Not too surprising, Nintendo's never really done that well in Europe until the DS.
Not bad, it's good to see Nintendo make inroads into competitors stongholds.
It's really saying something (in both directions: strength of the Wii, weakness of the GCN in terms of sales) that by the time the Wii has been out a year it will have outsold the GameCube in most countries.
